Tattoo beds are better for backs, ribs, thighs, and full-body work. The client lies flat. A bed with an adjustable backrest lets them sit up for breaks without disrupting your setup.

Massage tables work in a pinch, but most are too narrow for comfortable long sessions. A wider bed (75cm+) with a face cradle is ideal.

Key Features for Tattoo Equipment

Adjustability — You need to position the client at the right angle for your hand position. Electric adjustment is ideal.

Stability — A wobbly chair or bed during tattooing is dangerous. Look for a heavy-duty base.

Easy-to-clean upholstery — PU leather that wipes clean with disinfectant. Seamless construction prevents ink from getting trapped.

Weight capacity — Minimum 200kg. Tattoo sessions are long, and the equipment needs to hold steady for hours.

Hydraulic vs Electric for Tattoo Work
